Got down a little after 5:30 and on the water about 6. Four windsurfers were packing up and Squiz stayed out with Nick turning up later. Sailed with 8.5m which was about right. Used a smaller 42cm than the usual 50cm; board did not point quite as well but did not get excessive lift when well powered up. Really nice sailing and sea state was nice with a little swell. Wind was a little up and down but OK Water felt a lot warmer. Lovely summer evening. Sailed for about 1 hour 30 mins with short breaks to tighten the boom front end as it slipped down the mast.
As i left around 8;20 a couple of kiters were still at it as the sun went down. Nice.
